Step-By-Step

 

  1. Consultation

To determine your best service options based on your preferences, we first chat with you. After answering a few simple questions, you will be on your way to starting your service knowing exactly what to expect and how many diapers of what size you need each week.

2. Your First Drop Off

At your first drop off, we will give you a demonstration on how to use the diapers, snaps and all! This visit also gives us a chance to answer any questions you might have. Learn more about our diaper choices in the Diapering 101 section!

3. Pick-Ups

At the same day and time each week, your dirties will be picked up and your clean diapers will be dropped off- we provide the bag for you. Just leave your dirty diapers outside and we will grab them and leave fresh ones, you don’t even have to be home!

If we ever need to change your service day, we will try to do so at least a week in advance.

Holidays and Bad Weather

Unless you receive a message from us, your pick-up/drop-off time and day will remain the same. We will continue service in all weather conditions, unless unsafe, in which case you would be notified immediately. If we ever need to change your service day, we will try to do so at least a week in advance.

Caring for the diapers

You do not rinse or soak your diapers. Just put them in the bag! Once your baby has solid poops, flip them into the toilet and throw the diaper into the pail. (You're even supposed to do this with disposables to help keep untreated waste out of the landfill, but no one really ever does).

We ask that you do not try to launder the diapers yourself- as this can lead to staining or a loss of waterproofing of the outer layer.

Going on vacation?

Notify us at least 8 days in advance of your trip (one week and one day) so that we can pick up all of your soiled diapers before you leave. You can either pause your service during the time that you are gone, or arrange to take diapers with you on your trip.

Service Changes

Communicate your needs with us and we will do our best to accommodate you, though it may not be possible to accommodate very last minute changes.

As your baby grows, you will likely need fewer and fewer diapers. We will evaluate your usage on a monthly basis to ensure you are not paying for diapers you do not need!
